Home from Home Service

East Boro's Home from Home Service is a day respite service for carers of older people (aged 55+) in Bournemouth and Poole.

Run by East Boro Housing Trust, in partnership with Bournemouth Borough Council and the Borough of Poole, the Home from Home Service aims to provide respite for Carers of older people whilst at the same time providing the person being cared for an enjoyable day in the company of and at a Host's home.

A Host is fully trained, insured, CRB police checked and their home safety assessed so that when assigned to a customer, their Carer has the time and space to attend to their own needs safe in the knowledge the person they care about is in a safe, stimulating environment, enjoying a range of different activities and a home cooked lunch.
