Applying for Housing

To apply for social housing at East Boro Housing Trust:

East Boro maintains its own, independent waiting list for the majority of its properties.

To apply for housing, please download and complete the application form below and return it to us at the Trust office.

The applicant applies to East Boro Housing Trust using the Trust Application form, which will be acknowedged within 5 working days.
The application is pointed using the Trust points allocation system, which will be completed within 10 working days .
A home visit will be made by the Trust's Housing Administrator to verify all information contained within the application, to be underteken within 20 working days, with agreement by the applicant.
If this is unsuitable a formal interview will be held at the Trust offices, to verify and investigate issues relevant to the application, held within 25 working days.
The applicant is informed in writing of either the acceptance or rejection of their application within 5 working days of their meeting.
If accepted, the applicant is placed on the waiting list in the appropriate position relevant to their prioty needs, the type, size and location of property.
Offers of accommodation are made when vacancies arise and to those with the greatest need.
