Always Help at Hand
Always Help at Hand is East Boro’s ‘one stop shop’ for home, care, support and repair needs for people in Dorset. The below, permanent ‘zero hours’ positions are required to fulfil the needs of the growing client base within this service:
- Home Help Assistant (covering Poole and East Dorset)
Undertaking domestic and housing related support tasks for Service Users in their own homes. Click here for job description.

Providing an efficient personalised support service to individuals in agreement with individual’s Support Plan. Click here for job description.

Learning Disability Supported Living Service
Supported Living Support Workers and Assistants help adults with learning disabilities to live independently within their own home on a daily basis. Working in this role you will provide support with life skills, tenancy management, individual support plans, conduct full risk assessments and adopt a personal approach which helps individuals to maximise their chosen lifestyle, whilst living within a good quality and safe environment.
East Boro currently have no vacancies for Support Workers/Assistants on a contracted hours basis, but are seeking to expand it’s bank of relief/casual staff to provide cover in the event of sickness and holidays:
