We have a vacancy for a Volunteer Board Member
from an Accountancy/Audit/Finance Background
East Boro Housing Trust wishes to supplement its existing Board with a new member with experience of the Accountancy/Audit//Finance industry. If you want to help a not for profit charitable organisation that provides social housing homes and support services throughout Dorset to many people in need of supported housing and care services in the communities that we operate within, we want to hear from you.
The Board is ultimately responsible for the Trust’s governance, financial viability, strategy & policy, scrutinising service delivery and ensuring that the Trust’s Tenants/Customers receive “Best Value” services in an environment of continuous improvement. There are 10 Board meetings and 4 Finance Committee meetings per year including Annual General Meeting in July. All Meetings are usually held early on Wednesday evenings with the occasional daytime event. Board membership at the Trust is undertaken on a voluntary basis. Travel and expenses payments are made to members when on Trust duties.
